The Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Foundation NPC (2016/098321/08) (“GKEPF” or “the company”) is a registered non-profit company to assist with the combating of environmental crime.
The company was established jointly by the private nature reserves on the western and eastern flanks of the Kruger National Park.
For the most part these wild life and ecologically sensitive areas are open to the Kruger National Park with no fences separating them.

The company operates from the Southern African Wildlife College http://www.wildlifecollege.org.za/ off the R531, Orpen Road.
GKEPF, along with the Participating Reserves, have established strategic alliances with South African National Parks – specifically the Kruger National Park (KNP), The Peace Parks Foundation and The Southern African Wildlife College. The co-operation between the operations of the Participating Reserves, GKEPF and KNP is essential for the effective combatting of wildlife crime.
