TRACKER ACADEMY

Tracker Academy is a training division of the SA College for Tourism which operates under the auspices of the Peace Parks Foundation. Tracker Academy raises funds for and trains 16 (per annum) unemployed people in the traditional skills of animal tracking. Our tracker graduates undergo an intensive one-year training course which prepares them for employment in the eco-tourism, animal monitoring and wildlife protection sectors of the conservation industry. Since 2010, some 91% of our graduates have found permanent employment. Tracker Academy’s training program is accredited by CATHSSETA and endorsed by FGASA.
