After three years in Timbavati, GKEPF has officially moved its administrative office to Hoedspruit: a step that brings us closer to our partners, our people, and the shared work that connects us across the Greater Kruger. Being in Hoedspruit places us in a more central and accessible space, making it easier to connect, collaborate, and respond to the realities of conservation on the ground.
GKEPF was founded on the belief that no single organisation can protect this landscape alone and that real impact happens through partnership, coordination, and shared purpose.
Our new office strengthens that role as a convener and facilitator, bringing us closer to the networks that drive collective action across more than 2.5 million hectares of protected land.
As we continue to implement our 2026-2030 strategy, this move supports how we plan to deliver across our core programmes (Partner, Protect, Prosper, and Enable). From supporting coordinated protection efforts and disrupting environmental crime, to building ecological and social resilience and fostering long-term stewardship of the landscape, our focus remains on creating a Greater Kruger where both people and wildlife can thrive.
While our location has changed, what drives us has not. Our commitment to collaborative conservation, to protecting the integrity of the Greater Kruger, and to working alongside communities and partners remains as strong as ever.
We’re excited for this next chapter and look forward to welcoming our partners, colleagues, and stakeholders to our new home in Hoedspruit.
