GKEPF welcomes contributions from individuals, organisations, and institutions that align with its conservation and security objectives. Donation enquiries can be directed to info@gkepf.org.

All donations are welcome as any amount helps. Funds are used for operations or to implement shared ideas and projects. We adhere to strict regulations regarding governance and compliance. The utilisation of all funds is closely managed and signed off by our auditors on an annual basis.

Please note that GKEPF does not accept unsolicited proposals for grant funding.

GKEPF is authorised to issue Section 18A certificates for qualifying donations, enabling South African donors to claim tax deductions.

The GKEPF Foundation is a registered South African Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) as set out in section 30(3) of the Income Tax Act No 58 of 1962 and as such is exempt from income tax in terms of section 10(1)(cN) of the Act.

The GKEPF is approved in terms of section 18A(1)(a) of the Act and donations to the organisation are tax deductible in the hands of the donors in terms of the Act. Section 18A tax certificates are issued in terms of the Act and on receipt of organisational tax and company details.

Management Authorities
GKEPF represents a network of private and provincial reserves collectively forming the Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Zone (GKEPZ). Partner reserves include: Balule Nature Reserve, Kapama Private Game Reserve, Karingani Game Reserve, Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, Mala Mala Game Reserve, Manyeleti Nature Reserve, Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, Sabie Game Reserve, Sandringham Private Nature Reserve, Selati Game Reserve, Thornybush Nature Reserve, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, and Umbabat Private Nature Reserve. GKEPF also works closely with South African National Parks (SANParks), the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA), Alinea International, and other regional partners to coordinate protection efforts across the Greater Kruger landscape.

Strategic Partners
As per legislative and policy institutional mandates, we work with SANParks, DFFE, MTPA, Alinea, SAPS, LEDET, various judicial structures in Limpopo and Mpumulanga, as well as designated structures of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (GLTFCA) such as the GLTFCA Cooperative Agreement (2018), Joint Management Committee (JMC) and thematic committees. GKEPF is the coordinator of the Premier Integrated Wildlife Zone, straddling the Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces.

GKEPF is an independent, non-profit organisation. Funding is received from management authorities, private donors, and international conservation partners, with government agencies contributing through collaborative operational support rather than direct financial aid.
