The Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Foundation (GKEPF) is a registered Not‑for‑Profit Company (NPC) in South Africa and operates as an approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) in terms of section 30(3) of the Income Tax Act No. 58 of 1962. This status provides the organisation with income tax exemption under section 10(1)(cN).
GKEPF is further approved in terms of section 18A(1)(a) of the Act, enabling donors to receive tax‑deductible benefits on qualifying contributions in South Africa. Section 18A certificates are issued once donor organisational or individual details are received.
Our donor community includes major corporates, family foundations, specialist conservation NGOs, and individual supporters who are deeply committed to strengthening the safety and security of both wildlife and people across the Greater Kruger landscape.
Every contribution matters. Donations of any size directly support the critical projects, protection systems and operational capabilities required to keep this landscape safe, functional and resilient.
GKEPF follows strict governance and compliance frameworks. All funds are carefully managed, allocated to approved activities, and independently audited each year, ensuring transparency, accountability, and the highest standard of financial stewardship.
